The Beginnings of an Addiction

My Gaming History

What Kind of Gamer Am I?

Not How I Play!!!
Having done a research paper on game addiction, I would say that I am qualified to label myself as a casual gamer.  For me, gaming is all about relaxation and having a good time.  I play whenever I'm taking a break from studying or other activities, and I would say that my gaming hours don't exceed 8-10 hours per week.  I enjoy single player games the best, but I love playing FIFA multiplayer.  In single player games, I look for a compelling storyline and outstanding graphics.  I will not play a game that I think is lacking in graphics and visual design.

Favorite Games

Currently my favorite games include FIFA and Assassin's Creed games.  I like adventure/action games, and the Assassin's Creed franchise is the best.  Sports games are also some of my favorite, but as I said, I lean more towards adventure/action games.

Birth of a Gamer, Gaming Platforms, and Other Things

My first video game was SuperSmash Brothers on the Nintendo GameCube.  I was seven years old when I first played and I have been playing since.  Over the years I switched from GameCube to Xbox, and now I have started playing on PCs.  The thing about PCs is that they have much better graphics than any other system.  Mostly my friends or my brothers play the same kind of games as me.  It's hard to say what kind of people play the same games because I'm not much of a social gamer.
